Catoosa County Library

On June 26, 2012, members of Corellian Base joined members from Midsouth Garrison’s Mos Nooga Squad, Georgia Garrison, Mando Mercs, Vapin Force, and Chattooine to attend the kick off for Summer Reading in Ringgold, Georgia, at the Catoosa County Library.

Once everyone was ready, we lined up and headed out into the library one by one. In all, the event went great! We had around 297 kids in attendance to see some of their favorite Star Wars Characters. The smile of the children was so awesome and contagious it was just so much fun in the air. I signed many items including a few T shirts, some of my RL Cards, a hat, and even a Boba Fett helmet.

At 8pm we all headed back to the changing area to pack up for the night, then headed out for dinner at a local Mexican Restaurant. A huge thank you to Charleen Munn the North Georgia Garrison for organizing this.
