Why did you join the Legion?
For fun, charity work, and to meet new people.

What is your favorite costume to wear? (Star Wars or not)
Princess Leia’s Ceremonial Dress from the end of A New Hope.

If time and money were no issue, what would your dream costume be?
The “Breathe” dress from Ever After.

How has being a member affected your life?
I’ve made a number of friends, which I never would have met if I just stayed at home. Plus I’ve traveled to a number of cities/places that I never would have done on my own.

What would be your dream event to participate in?
A Star Wars Breakfast. Even thought I’m not a morning person. But often those events are filled with kids, and for the short time you really get to be a movie character come to life.

What has been your favorite event to participate in?
Cleveland Symphony Orchestra concerts, just after Hurricane Katrina, the Cleveland Orchestra was doing a concert of Star Wars music and had invited the RL to troop before the concerts. The Red Cross was also there collecting donations in support of the rescue and relief efforts in New Orleans. I happened to be asked if I would carry around one of their donation buckets. And I have never experienced such generosity from the general public. People were putting $20 bills in the bucket, even while I was trying to hide it behind me so I could take a photo with someone.

Do you volunteer with other organizations?
Yes, 4-H and my church

What is your real life job?
I work in the Premedia Division of RR Donnelley, preparing files for the press room.
