Resistance Officers Version A (The Force Awakens)

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Resistance officers were military officers of the Resistance, General Leia Organa’s private military group that opposed the First Order.(Source Wookiepedia)

REQUIRED ITEMS:

[box]Jacket

Required Details:

  1. Medium to dark brown jacket. Fabric with a fulled/brushed texture and no visible weave (similar to melton wool, or moleskin) is preferred.
  2. Mandarin collar approximately 5 cm (2 inches) high. Collar has a curved edge.
  3. Collar has 3 rows of topstitching approximately 1.3 cm (½ inches) apart.
  4. Jacket front overlaps left over right with no visible closures. (Screen used closures were hooks and eyes. Other invisible closures are also acceptable.)
  5. Jacket opening runs from the right side of the neckline down to the belt. Beginning at either the top or bottom of the belt, the opening curves sharply to the left.
  6. Belt is threaded through a slit in the left side, and the buckle/closure is hidden.
  7. Jacket front has princess seams curving from the sleeve across the bust.
  8. Jacket back fitted to the waist through the side seams.
  9. Jacket bottom flares slightly.
  10. Jacket has center back seam.
  11. Shoulder seams running from the collar to the sleeve on either side of jacket.

Optional Details:

  1. Jacket back has a single center vent for movement.
  2. Mandarin collar has piping inserted between the lining and the outer fabric in-between the rows of topstitching to create a ridged look.
  3. Jacket has internal shoulder pads.
  4. Weathered fabric Starbird patch on the left shoulder. Base of patch is a tan fabric circle with frayed edges. Starbird is a dark red, printed or appliqued onto the circle.

Required Details:

  1. Dark brown trousers in a bottom-weight woven fabric such as a twill or gabardine.
  2. Trousers have a fly front.
  3. Trousers have a straight leg fit worn tucked into boots.
[/box] [box]Belt

Required Details:

  1. Golden brown to dark brown leather/leather-like belt.
  2. Belt is approximately 5 cm (2 inches) wide.
  3. Any rivets are hidden.
  4. Belt is threaded through a slit in the left jacket flap, and the buckle is hidden or mostly hidden.

If buckle is visible:

  1. Weathered, silver toned, solid rectangular buckle.
  2. Buckle is the same width as the belt.

Option 1:

  1. Calf high brown leather or leather-like boot.
  2.  Flat sole.
  3. Horizontal strap at boot top matching boot material.
  4. Plain without decoration or elastic inserts.

Optional Details:

  1. Vertical zipper on the inside.

(Similar to the PoZu Well 2 Boot)

Option 2:

  1. Knee high brown boots.
  2. Flat sole or low, block or wedge heel.

Optional Details:

  1. Boots may have an inside zipper.
  2. Boots may have a tab at the top secured by a metal stud.

Option 3:

  1. Dark brown ankle high boots.
  2. Boots have flat sole.
  3. Worn with dark brown woven leg-wraps that reach just below the knee.

(Screen used are similar to WWI puttees.)

[/box] [box]Resistance Rank Badge

Required Details:

  1. Resistance rank badge, any branch any rank
  2. Worn on the left side of costumer’s chest
  3. Grey rectangular badge approximately 3.5x7cm (1 3/8 x 3/4 inches)
  4. 4 alternating stripes either Red/White or Blue/White on the left third of the badge.

Approximate Stripe Width:

  1. Color (Red or Blue) 12 mm (1/2 inch)
  2. White 3 mm (1/8 inch)
  3. Color (Red or Blue) 2 mm (1/32 inch)
  4. White 5 mm (5/64th inch)

On the right side of the badge:

  1. Rank symbol centered on grey/silver
  2. Color of the symbol matches the color of the stripes

OPTIONAL ITEMS:

[box]Shirt

Required Details:

  1. Cream/light tan to dark .beige, long sleeved shirt of lightweight woven fabric, such as cotton.
  2. Sleeves are gathered into a wide cuff ending at the wrist. Cuff fasteners should be hidden.
  3. Standing collar approximately 2.54. cm (1 inch) tall.
  4. Opens at the left shoulder or the left front, secured with hidden fasteners.

Note: These are the same shirts worn by Resistance Officers B and C and by Resistance Controllers.

Required Details:

  1. Brown fabric in a shade matching the jacket.
  2. Military patrol style cap with a brim and solid back.

Optional Details:

  1. Cap may have an integrated hat band.
  2. Cap band may have sections/ear flaps that fold up.
  3. Cap may include a scarf like flap covering the neck or be worn over a matching scarf.
[/box] [box]Resistance Medical Services Arm Band

Required Details:

  1. Teal fabric arm band.
  2. Worn on left upper arm.
  3. Arm band is approximately 7.5 cm (3 inches) wide.
  4. White Aurebesh lettering approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) high that translates to “MED”
[/box] [box]Satchel Bag

Option 1:

  1. Canvas military style bag.
  2. Cross body length strap in varying widths.
  3. Cream, tan or olive drab green canvas.

(Some screen used are likely two Dutch/Sten magazine pouches sewn together, others are plain messenger style bags.)

Option 2:

  1. Rectangular medic bag.
  2. Light grey or cream fabric with diamond shaped quilting.
  3. Rigid sides.
  4. White or cream strap.

Optional Details:

  1. Strap has a diamond shape pattern.
  2. May have cylindrical tubes or hoses attached.
  3. May feature a clear vinyl window exposing electronics.

Required Details:

  1. Cross body leather or leather-like strap.
  2. Approximately 10.16 cm (4 inches) wide.

Optional Details:

  1. May have small ammo type pouches of a matching material attached.

Required Details: 

  1. Brown leather or leather-like rectangular pouches in varying size and number.
  2. Worn on belt in various configurations.
[/box] [box]Holster

Option 1:

  1. Dark brown leather or leather-like holster.
  2. Holster is hung from the belt on the costumer’s right side with a single loop.
  3. Holster folds over the Glie-44 pistol from right to left.
  4. Right side of the holster has a U-shaped cut-out at the front fold, resulting in two straps that extends across the face of the holster to the opposite side. The underfold extend above the upper fold by about 1.27 cm to 1.9 cm (½ inch to ¾ inch)

Option 2:

  1. Medium to dark brown leather or leather-like holster.
  2. Holster is hung from the belt on the costumer’s right side with a single loop.
  3. Holster folds over the Glie-44 pistol from right to left.
  4. Right side of the holster tapers to be narrower at the front fold, and the left side is cut so the top angles down to the right.
  5. The underfold extends above the upper fold by about 1.27 cm to 1.9 cm (½ inch to ¾ inch)

[box]Blaster

Required Details:

  1. Glie-44 blaster pistol.
  2. Blaster is weathered medium to dark silver color with a black handle, trigger, and power cell.
  3. Blaster has a blocky shaped body with a fluted snub-nose barrel tip.
  4. There are three long rectangular intonations along the top of the blaster on each side.
  5. There is a black rectangular power cell with three vertical rectangular indentations on the front of the body of the blaster.
  6. Blaster has two screws (may be decorative) on the body of the blaster above the power cell.
