Japan Base serves the Rebel Legion all over Japan. It originally started as an Outpost in 2006 and became a Base in 2007.

We follow the mind of the Rebel Legion and make quality costumes of various Star Wars characters. Japan Base recruits new members and deepens relationships with each fan and every Star Wars fan group. We actively participate in volunteer activities and events and deepen exchanges with people and Star Wars fans.

In 2025, it will host the second STAR WARS Celebration!

Paying homage to "Episode IV: A New Hope," the term "New hope" is translated to "𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗔𝘀𝗮" in Filipino. The 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗔𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 is the Philippine Chapter of The Rebel Legion, a non-profit group dedicated to Star Wars costume enthusiasts, celebrated for its outstanding costumes, charitable work, and close community bonds.

Nationwide, our members are immersed in local and global events, expressing passion for Star Wars. As a Base, our primary focus involves supporting charitable causes and guiding new recruits in their costuming pursuits.

Naboo Base originated as the New Zealand Outpost in 2006, initially comprising three members. On August 28, 2008, the outpost underwent a name change to Naboo. In January 2024, Naboo Outpost officially transitioned to become Naboo Base.

Members of Naboo Base actively participate in local 'Armageddon' conventions and various charity events throughout New Zealand, often collaborating with the Local 501st Garrison, "Outpost 42".

Rebel Legion D'Qar Outpost is the Tasmanian branch of the worldwide Star Wars costuming group. We're the good guys! Members of the Rebel Legion build most of their own costumes and use them for Star Wars-related events, and for charity, fundraising, and volunteer work. We are primarily focused on community activities and charities such as the Royal Hobart Regatta, the TasPride Parade, Christmas parades, and Relay for Life. D’Qar Outpost has assisted with events such as the Special Children’s Christmas Party as well as raising funds for the Starlight Foundation. The Outpost also does hospital visits to children’s wards.

D'Qar Outpost covers the Australian state of Tasmania- from our beautiful, forested West Coast to our stunning east and north coastal areas and of course, our southern region, in which our capital city, Hobart, is located. Tasmania is our beloved state with rugged, gorgeous, and colorful scenery and a range of flora and fauna to excite many. We feel so very lucky to be D’Qar members in Tasmania!

The Rebel Legion Alpine Base Austria is a part of the internationally recognized Star Wars fan club Rebel Legion, which originated and is based in the USA and is a Disney and Lucasfilm Ltd. recognized and preferred rebel costume group. As such, we are a proud part of a global movement that has made it a goal to make the Star Wars franchise particularly tangible on-site. We are therefore made up exclusively of extremely motivated and creative fans who have set themselves the goal of sparing no cost or effort for their passion to bring their favorite character from the films, a specific costume, a special group, or an ideal to life as authentically and true to the film as possible.

As members of the Rebel Legion, it is particularly important to us not only to convince with good, authentic costumes, but also to make our work for “the good” tangible in another form: we collect donations for a good cause and, if circumstances and events permit, we also like to visit people of all age groups to put a smile on their faces. In order to be able to fulfill this adequately, we are very often on the road at various events and sacrifice our weekends to be able to offer you something that makes your Star Wars heart beat faster. Be it to take a joint photo, surprise you with raffle prizes, or surprise you with original props that we always exhibit at our stand - and into which we have invested our heart and soul, just like in our costume.

Lion Base of the Rebel Legion was found at the end of 2009. In that time Czech Rebel Legion members started to promote the Rebel Legion and its mission by holding panels and discussions and by enticing other costume enthusiasts to improve their costumes and join the Legion.

On August 31, 2010, their efforts were rewarded with a success – the official approval of Lion Base as the unit of Rebel Legion serving the Czech Republic. Soon the number of members was growing and the outpost with it. During the first year, we’ve attended a great variety of events – sci-fi and fantasy conventions, entertaining events and afternoons for children, film music concerts, meetings with actors, etc. Many of these events were entertainment events, but there were also many charity events.

Not only we’ve attended events held in the Czech Republic, but we’ve also attended foreign events in nearby Poland, for example.

On September 9, 2011, the unit successfully finished its one-year probation period and was officially promoted to base – Lion Base.

The German Base Yavin serves the Rebel Legion all over Germany. Community and Charity belong to our big points, we take part in many conventions or events and we support different social organizations. Ireland Base was formed on August 1st, 2013. It was just an Outpost at the time established amongst a small group of Jedi and Pilots. Since then we grew steadily until officially becoming a Base in March 2017 and at the same time we have been awarded the "Base of the Year" title for that year (2016-2017).

Proudly home of the Ahch-to Temple, Clurichaun Clan, and Flying Banshee Squadron, our members have given countless hours and assisted in raising thousands of euros for many Irish non-profit organizations, such as the Irish Cancer Society, BUMBLEance. The regular troop we are most proud of is Relay For Live, a 24-hour march to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those who didn't make it, and raise awareness.

We work closely with the 501st Ireland Garrison to help bring the Star Wars universe to life for everyone. “Never underestimate the power of The Force!”

Rebel Legion Spanish Base serves as the central hub for the Rebel Alliance in Spain, operating as a non-profit association since its establishment in the early months of 2007 and re-approved in 2011. Our unit is dedicated to fostering a sense of community among the Saga enthusiasts while actively engaging in philanthropic endeavors throughout the Spanish territory.

Covering a broad spectrum of regions, we take pride in being highly active across Spain, participating in a multitude of events that extend beyond the realm of fandom. Our involvement includes organizing and contributing to blood drives, charitable initiatives, and collaborations with national foundations and associations. Through these activities, we aim to attract public attention to important causes such as cancer survival and rare diseases.

One of our distinctive features is the encouragement we provide to fans of the Saga to actively participate in these charitable events while enjoying the unique experience of donning an approved costume and becoming valued members of our Rebel Legión community. We believe in the power of combining our shared passion for the Saga with a sense of responsibility toward societal well-being.

In addition to our individual efforts, we are proud to collaborate with other like-minded associations in Spain that share our profile and characteristics. This collaborative spirit allows us to amplify our impact and reach, fostering a network of dedicated individuals and organizations united by a common cause.

Elstree Base is home to Rebel Legion UK members, which was formed in 2002. It has grown over the years to become the biggest Base in Europe, with over 50 different costumes including Clones, Jedi, Pilots, Wookiees, Smugglers, Troopers, and Royalty.

Over these years, Elstree Base has raised tens of thousands of pounds for UK charities and continues to do so. We frequently collaborate with the 501st UK Garrison, Mandalorian Mercs, and R2 Builders to bring Star Wars characters to life around the UK. We attend events in our costumes to raise money for charity, from film premieres to local community events and social outreach programs.

Since its inception in 2002, Elstree Base has worked alongside amazing charities like Dreamflight, Rainbow Children’s Trust, Great Ormond Street, Help for Heroes and Mind, as well as supporting numerous promotion events on behalf of Star Wars creators Lucasfilm and Disney.

Serving Argentina

Since 2005, the Rebel Legion has a presence in Argentina through Rebel member Joe Solo, who was followed by Queen.Amidala, the.rebel.agent, and Tsai-Fer Koz a couple of years later. Since 2009, thanks to the arrival of “Star Wars – The Exhibition” (giving the Argentinian fandom a renewed impulse), and the making of the web forum “Star Fans Argentina”, the Rebel Legion added more members, concluding with the creation of Cruz del Sur Outpost, in April 2009 (after the probation year, it would reached the status of Base within a month). In 2013, the first detachment of the Argentinian Base was created: Templo Pucará (“Knights of the Jedi Order Pucará Temple”)
Today, there are 30 active members in the Argentinian territory, collaborating on the promotion of Star Wars and the supporting actions that the Rebel Legion encourages in all the countries where it has a presence.

Chile Outpost was founded on May 24th, 2013. We currently have nine members. Our most important mission is to represent the Rebel Legion from the extreme north to the southernmost city of Chile, with our Outpost and Jedi Detachment. So far, we have attended conventions and parades in Chile.

Focusing on charities, we have grown into a well-recognized group that supports the most prestigious non-profit institutions in Puerto Rico. Some of the main events that we support every year include Star Wars Reads, Star Wars Blood Drive, and hospital visits among many others. We look forward to serving and watching over the Caribbean.

Kamino Base has been serving the CT area since 2008. We raise funds for charity, appear at conventions such as CTCon and Terrificon, visit children’s hospitals, march in parades like the New Haven St. Patrick's Day parade (the largest parade in the state!), support educational and science centers, as well as a wide variety of other events. We have appeared at Yardgoats, Wolfpack, and Islanders games, and in 2023 we appeared at the first-ever WNBA Star Wars night. Everything we do is to help raise money for charities like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the CT Children's Medical Center, the American Red Cross, and more.

Bespin Base was formed as an original constituent base of the Rebel Legion in 2000. Georgia Base rebranded itself as “Bespin Base” in 2005 and is now home to Cloud City Temple (Knights of the Jedi Order), Thunder Squad (Clones of the Republic), Lightning Strike Squadron (Rebel Legion Starfighter Command), and Tibanna Storm Clan (The Wretched Hive).

Bespin enjoys strong relationships, including many mutual members, with the Georgia Garrison of the 501st Legion, Naast Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs, and other Star Wars clubs.

Favorite troops during the year include the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Golden Soldiers Big Day Out, Relay for Life, Young Astronaut’s Day at Robins AFB, Dragon*Con, Star Wars Reads Day, Boo at the Zoo, Toys for Tots, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade, Make-A-Wish events, Star Wars author signings, movie releases, sporting events, library events, hospital visits, and community festivals and parades. Off-duty we enjoy armor parties, lightsaber training, our “Pancake Alliance” IHOP dinner group, and an annual cookout at Stone Mountain Park.

Nar Shaddaa Base serves Illinois with appearances at everything from big-league Chicago sports teams to small-town libraries. Mos Espa Base is a regional part of The Rebel Legion, an international charitable costuming organization focused on creating costumes associated with “the good guys” of the Star Wars universe. Costumes such as lightsaber-wielding Jedi, dashing X-wing pilots, and icons like Princess Leia form the core of The Rebel Legion. Like the 501st, The Rebel Legion upholds values such as screen-accurate costumes and charitable work. Mos Espa Base represents the state of Indiana within the Rebel Legion and partners closely with its sister 501st garrisons, Bloodfin in central and southern Indiana, as well as Northern Darkness Garrison in northern Indiana.

Fulcrum Base represents the Commonwealth of Kentucky within the Rebel Legion. The base was officially formed in 2020. Fulcrum members are residents of Kentucky and the surrounding states who use their love and passion for Star Wars and cosplay to create screen-accurate costumes of ‘the good guys”, such as a generic Jedi knight, X-wing pilot, or even Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and a scruffy Han Solo. We work closely with our sister groups- The Bluegrass Garrison of the 501st Legion, and Blue Moon Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club. We volunteer and use our costumes for school events, hospital visits, community/charity fundraisers, conventions, and many other events.

Terrapin Base covers Maryland and Washington D.C. and our members regularly participate in troops throughout our region. We cover a wide range of events, from large-scale cons like AwesomeCon to local community fairs and charity fundraisers. At AwesomeCon, we work with the other local clubs to raise money for a D.C. charity. Terrapin Rebels can be found throughout the year at major and minor league sporting events, from the Washington Nationals to the Aberdeen Ironbirds, as well as local parades, such as the Baltimore Christmas parade. We've also worked on communicating with libraries throughout the region to attend their events and help bring people into the library. Terrapin Base coordinates events with our fellow bases in the Mid-Atlantic region and our sister costuming clubs to bring enthusiasm for charity through Star Wars costuming to our local community.

Blue Ridge Base, founded in 2010, serves the states of North and South Carolina. Originally a part of Freedom Base (and the even larger Southern Base before that), in 2009 the North and South Carolina members came together to incorporate a unique identity for the Carolinas and officially became Blue Ridge Base in 2010. Our name pays homage to the Blue Ridge Mountain range which passes through both states.

Several detachments exist within our base for the various costume types, including Nexus Temple, Graveyard Squadron, Kowakian Clan, Appenza Delegation, and Mountain Mist Hangar Bay.

Central Base is one of the original founding bases of the Rebel Legion that proudly serves the states of Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Our base has welcomed guests from all over the world and has brought in many new members to the legion over the years. Additionally, we have been fortunate enough to induct several Honorary Members at our various events. Our mission has always been to acknowledge each-and-every member's contributions, regardless of how big or small, and to showcase the inclusivity and diversity we have to offer.

We also strive to show the public our charity efforts and explain why it is essential for us to do what we do.

Devaron Base has proudly been a unit of The Rebel Legion since 2018, serving the state of New Jersey, USA. Our members attend and volunteer for many different kinds of events that support various local charities and communities, along with exciting conventions and Star Wars-related events. We have also helped support bigger charity efforts such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, UNICEF, Starlight Children's Foundation, Special Olympics of New Jersey, and more. While our membership may be divided on whether it's called "Taylor Ham" or "Pork Roll," we are united in our passion for costuming, charity, and Star Wars.

New Mexico is a state that boasts beautiful diversity, and this is reflected in both our troopers and events. Our unit covers the entire state, and we are proud to be the only unit in the world with THREE active Jedi Masters who have completed official Jedi trials.

Bantha Canyon Base has approximately 20-25 active members, and we collaborate with other groups such as the 501st, the Mando Mercs, and our younglings, The Galactic Academy. One of the biggest events that takes place in New Mexico is the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, which is held on the first two weekends of October every year. With one million spectators attending this 10-day event, we are always excited to participate in it, starting at 0:300. However, it's worth noting that all troopers must complete the required annual training before they can participate in this event. Regardless of the weather conditions, we troop this event, as New Mexico receives around 300 days of sunshine per year.

Apollo Base is the Ohio Chapter of the Rebel Legion participating in charity and community events all across our great state. We work alongside our sister organizations such as the 501st and Mandalorian Mercs for cross-club collaborative teamwork for events from Toledo to Cleveland, down to Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, and all of our small hometowns in between. Most every weekend of the year our members are participating in events at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

Kashyyyk Base is the home to the Rebel Legion serving the state of Oregon and SW Washington. Formed in 2006, Kashyyyk Base works closely with our 501st Legion counterpart, Cloud City Garrison, offering support at charity events, fundraisers, and social functions by appearing as Clones, Jedi, Pilots, Wookiees, Smugglers, Troopers, and Royalty.

Founded in February 2014, Ghost Base covers the western part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We participate in many events from hospital visits to fan conventions. Our largest event is THON, the largest student-run philanthropic organization held at Penn State University., It raises over 16 million dollars annually. Our goal is to raise awareness throughout our community with our love of Star Wars.

Corellian Base was formed in the Fall of 2005 and serves Tennessee. You’ll find many heroes of the Star Wars universe in our ranks including Jedi, Clones, Royalty, Pilots, Rebel Troopers, Princesses, Smugglers, Republic Citizens, a Wookiee, and more! We are home to Centerpoint Temple, Bloodstripe Squadron, and Solo Squad.

Our members have proudly given countless hours and assisted in raising thousands of dollars for non-profit organizations including Make-a-Wish Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Dreams & Wishes, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Autism Speaks, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, local hospitals, and more.

We work closely with the 501st Legion’s MidSouth Garrison and R2 Builders to help make Star Wars come alive for children of all ages. We are the Heroes!

Alpha Base covers Washington State and was one of the first bases in the Rebel Legion. We work closely with our sibling clubs within Star Wars Washington to bring our favorite Star Wars characters to life for the enjoyment and benefit of our communities. Alpha Base portrays the "Light Side" within the Star Wars universe. We attend events such as Emerald City Comic Con, SummerCon, and Lilac City Comicon We also attend events at the Museum of Flight, parades, symphony concerts, and many more.
