CT-7567, nicknamed “Rex,” was a clone trooper captain during the Clone Wars, the galaxy-wide conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Rex was in command of Torrent Company, a unit of the famed 501st Legion in the Grand Army of the Republic. Rex served under Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, and was a freethinking, tough, and aggressive trooper. Though loyal and committed to his duty and to his fellow clones, Rex proved capable of questioning his superiors and, under extreme circumstances, outright disobeying orders if he believed them to be wrong. Rex displayed a strong working relationship and a degree of friendship with Commander Cody.

Rex was one of the many clones of bounty hunter Jango Fett, bred on Kamino by the Galactic Republic to fight in the Republic’s clone army. The soldiers were bred to fight against the separatist planetary and sectorial governments seeking to leave the Republic, known as Confederacy of Independent Systems, in the coming war. Rex served on Geonosis alongside Denal and was promoted to the rank of captain, he was also in command of Torrent Company, a unit in the famous 501st Legion. Rex was assigned to Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, and would participate in many missions alongside the Jedi Knight, including Jabiim. Rex also developed a friendship with fellow clone trooper Commander Cody.

1. Helmet

  • Blue eyes and triangles on forehead
  • Blue visor trim, rear detail, and 2 vertical ribs back of helmet
  • Yellow “kill stripes”, 4 on each side of the forehead
  • Rangefinder (Boba/Jango Fett style) mounted on right/outsdie of helmet and painted white
  • Black or charcoal grey frown
  • Smoked/black visor (mirrored acceptable)

NOTE: Rubies helmet is not acceptable

2. Armor

  •  Shoulders – Blue stripe down the center
  •  Upper Arms – Blue stripe on the outside of the bicep, located slightly more toward the front
  •  Elbows – Blue stripe centered on elbow plate
  •  Forearms – Rank stripe on upper/outside
  •  Hand Plates – Rank stripes down center
  •  Knees -Blue stripe down center

3. Pauldron (black, grey, and blue)

  • Similar to Episode III style
  • Shoulder plate is no longer than helmet is wide
  • Mantle plates painted grey
  • Left shoulder plate details painted blue

4. Kama

  • Black with blue trim
  • Length should be to the bottom of the thigh armor
  • Split up the back all the way to the belt
  • Spacing in the front should place the edges of the kama at roughly the outside corners of the bottom of the codpiece

5. Pistols and Holsters

  • One holster on each hip, hanging from the belt
  • 2 DC-17 Pistols

OPTIONAL

  1. Weathering – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – Color should be heavy on the greys, with little/no browns
  2. Other clone weapons – Rex is shown with just about all of the accepted Clone weapons at some point in the movie/series
  3. Jango Fett “Arena” style jetpack – Seen when he follows Anakin into battle with the droids The Clone Wars movie NOTE: Standard Jango Fett color scheme is NOT acceptable.
