CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
Clone troopers were an army of identical, genetically-modified clones, created to serve in the Grand Army of the Republic during the full-scale intergalactic conflict that came to be known as the Clone Wars. Grown at an accelerated rate and raised in the laboratories and facilities of Kamino, the clone troopers were trained throughout the first ten years of their lives to become one of the most efficient military forces in galactic history. Bred for the sole purpose of combat, the clones were indoctrinated with unwavering obedience to the Galactic Republic and—more specifically—their Commander-in-Chief, the Supreme Chancellor.

EVA foam is not an approvable primary material for armor, unless finished with Worbla, sintra, or similar such material. 3D Printed Parts are acceptable so long as parts are finished with no visible print lines.
Phase I Helmet

Required Details:
1. Helmet dome slopes out past the cheek area to a wider base at the bottom which has a flat edge.
2. Helmet has a fin centered on top of dome.
3. Fin is flat on the top and back edges.
4. Fin extends past the back edge of the dome and curves back and down to meet the upper backside of the helmet dome.
5. Frown area consists of a recessed flat topped eye area, a wide V-shaped nose area and mouth area that curves upwards to create a “frown”; these areas are all connected.
6. Black eye lens extends down through the entire frown area.
7. Cheek areas are indented.
8. Ear section consists of a rectangle area that protrudes from the side of the helmet and is slightly curved.
9. Raised bump at each ear, approximately 1″ – 1.25″ ( 2.5 cm – 3.5 cm) in diameter.
10. 4 (four) Vents on each side of helmet under the ear section.
11. Vents may be painted black or grey, or cut out and filled with black mesh.
12. Helmet back has recessed thick line wrapping around from the ear sections
13. Line angles down into a V shape towards the center back.
14. Raised white circle at the back center of the helmet.
15. Helmet has rectangular indent within the V at the back center of the helmet

Neck Seal

Required Details:
1. Neck seal is black in color with no ribbing.
2. No logos or labels are visible.
3. If the seal is not incorporated as part of the under suit, a balaclava or other similar covering is acceptable.
Optional Detail:

Shoulder Armor

Required Details:
1. Shoulder armor is a bell shaped armor piece and has a curve that follows the curve of the wearer’s shoulder.
2. Shoulders are padded so as not to rest flat against the arms.
3. Top of the bell sits 3/4″ – 1″ (2 – 2.5 cm) above the natural shoulder.
4. Top edge is a curved point while bottom edge is flat.

1. Armor rests on the upper arm and encircles it.

3. Bottom edge of the armor should sit approximately 1” (2.5 cm) above the wearer’s elbow joint
4. Armor has a notch on the lower area of the back of the arm that matches up with the Forearm Armor.
5. Armor is seamless with no visible traces of how the armor was assembled shown.

Forearm Armor

Required Details:
1. Forearm armor’s stretched from the wearer’s elbow to the wearer’s wrists.
2. Armor has a wide flat band near the elbow before tapering towards the wrists following the curves of the wearer’s arms.
3. Elbow plate is integrated into the forearm, extending up to fit into the notch on the bicep.
4. Left forearm has a compad with 4 main square recessed areas and 1 slightly smaller square recessed area.
5. Smaller recess is closest to the elbow.
6. Armor is seamless on the outside edge.
7. Due to the shape of the armor, a butted seam is acceptable on the inside if required.

Hand Plates

Chest Armor

Required Details:
1. Chest Armor rests on the wearer’s upper chest and stops where the wearer’s rib cage ends.
2. Chest Armor has slightly raised beveled wide collar.
3. Chest Armor goes up over the shoulders to meet with the Back Armor at the top of the wearer’s shoulder.
4. Chest Armor connects to the Back Armor with a strap that sits on top of both pieces.
5. Chest Armor shoulder edges should rest approximately 1 – 3 inches (2 – 7.5 cm) from the end of the wearer’s shoulders.
6. Chest Armor has wide arm holes that end just above mid-chest.
7. Upper section of the armor has slightly raised pectoral area, with the lower outer sections raised more than the middle.
8. Pectoral area stops approximately at the bottom of the wearer’s sternum.
9. Pectoral sections do not meet in the middle, but instead have a shallow groove that defines the two sides.
10. Pectoral detailing lower edge curves to slightly follow the curve of the lower edge of the armor.
11. Chest Armor bottom edge is slightly curved.
12. Chest Armor has a half circle cut-out in the middle of the lower edge for the Abdomen armor.
13. Chest Armor connects to the Back Armor at the wearer’s sides without gaps.

Required Details:
1. Back Armor rests on the wearer’s upper back and stops where the wearer’s rib cage ends.

1. Codpiece Armor extends from the hips down to the leg joints on the sides and over the wearer’s crotch at the middle.
2. Side edges follow the line of the wearer’s leg joint allowing for a small gap between the Codpiece Armor and Thigh Armor.
3. Codpiece and Posterior armor connect at the hips.
4. Thin indented line creating the shape of a hexagon is present on the lower half of the armor piece.

4. Mirrored “L” shaped groves are present on the armor that start near the middle of the back and then end on each side of the armor piece.
5. Tops of the “L” should start on either side of the wearer’s spine.

Required Details:
1. Thigh armor extends from the knee up to the edges of the Codpiece and Posterior Armor pieces.
2. Outside top edge is located slightly below the wearer’s hips and curves on both the back and the front to follow the edges of the Codpiece and Posterior Armor pieces.
3. Armor has a notch on the lower area of the front that matches up with the Lower Leg Armor.
4. Thigh Armor has a ridge on the middle front of the armor piece from the top of the armor to close to the knee.
5. Ridge branches to create a flat triangle above the Lower Leg Armor notch.
6. Armor is seamless on the outside edge.
7. Due to the shape of the armor, a butted seam is acceptable on the inside if required.

Lower Leg Armor

Required Details:
1. Knee section consists of a “+” shape that curves around the wearer’s knees.
2. Armor has a wide flat band near the knee on the backside starts in line with the side edges of the “+” above it
3. Lower Leg follows the curve of the wearer’s legs and wraps fully around the leg.
4. Lower Leg Armor has a ridge on the middle front of the armor piece from the bottom of the armor to close to the knee.
5. Lower Leg Armor has two ridges on the side front of the armor piece from the bottom of the armor to close to the knee.
6. Ridges branches to create flat triangles below the knee section.
