CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Luke Skywalker was a legendary war hero and Jedi who helped defeat the Galactic Empire in the Galactic Civil War and helped found the New Republic, as well as the New Jedi Order.Born in 19 BBY as the son of the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and the Queen and Senator of Naboo, Padmé Amidala. Luke was raised on Tatooine and hidden from Emperor Palpatine and his father, who had recently become Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith. In 0 BBY, Skywalker’s life changed forever. A chance purchase of two droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO, led to him to receive training in the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and to meet Han Solo, and Princess Leia Organa, who was, unbeknownst to him, his twin sister. Skywalker then destroyed the first Death Star and joined the Rebel Alliance.

Required Details:
1. Hair is styled similarly to Luke’s. Hairstyle is a half long 70s look. It has bangs combed to the right side and the hair stands off in tufts around the head.
2. Natural occurring hair colors only (blonde hair color recommended).
3. No buzz cuts.
4. Face must be clean shaven.
5. Wig is allowed, but must be high quality and look like real hair.
Optional Details:
1. Blue eye color contacts recommended, not required.

1. White or off-white gi or kimono-inspired tunic.
2. Tunic goes to about mid-thigh.
3. Sleeves are in the style of bat sleeves and are not a separate piece added to the main tunic.
4. Collar is around 2-3 inches (5-7 cm).

Required Details:
1. Brown belt around 2 inches (5 cm) in width.
2. Silver rectangular buckle sits on the front center.
3. There are three pouches.
4. Brown double square pouch similar to Swiss K-31 Ammo Pouch. Each square is around 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) and sits on the back of the belt.
5. Long brown tool pouch similar to Canadian Swassey and Werner Rifle Scope Case that is around 11-12 inches (28-30 cm) by 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) and sits on the left side toward the back.
6. Brown trapezoid-shaped pouch similar to Dutch M95 Ammo Pouch that is around 3-4 inches ( 7-10 cm) in length with the top width being roughly 2.5-3 inches (6-7 cm) and bottom being around 2-2.5 inches (5-6 cm) and sits on the front left side.
7. The Droidcaller sits right before the tool pouch between it and the triangular pouch.
8. Two lightsaber clips sit to the right and left of the belt buckle.
9. Two D-rings are attached with riveted tabs, one immediately to the right of the left hook, and one 4-5 inches (10-12 cm) to the left of it.
10. The belt, pouches, and buckle are heavily weathered.

1. Tan ankle boots made of suede, canvas, or similar material. Screen used boots were wild leather Chelsea boots with elastic inlays on the side.
2. Dark brown or tan 1 inch (2.5 cm) soles.
3. Covering top of the boots, all the way up to the knee, are wraps / putties (approx 2.7 – 4 inches / 7 to 10 cm wide), tightly bound around the legs. Originally they were made of soft wild leather, so pale suede or leather like material is recommended. No visible closures.
4. No visible laces/zippers/fasteners.

Lightsaber:

Required Details:
1. Lightsaber hilt based on the one used in A New Hope.
2. Silver lightsaber hilt with black vertical grips on the pommel.
3. D-ring attached to the pommel end.
4. Lightsaber has a vertical ignition switch that is light gold or brass-toned metal on top of the control box.
5. One (1) raised red button close to the emitter/blade portion of the hilt.
6. Emitter end has two convex “fins” on the opposite side of the hilt from the button.
7. Luke’s hilt from The Empire Strikes Back is an acceptable version.
8. Lightsaber may be bladed or a static hilt (no blade).
9. Ultimate FX short sabers or other toy sabers are not acceptable.

1. Attached blade(s), LED lights, and sound effects, are allowed but not required.
2. If bladed, must be blue.
