CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Padmé Amidala Naberrie was a human female senator who represented the people of Naboo during the final years of the Galactic Republic. Prior to her career in the Galactic Senate, Amidala was the elected ruler of the Royal House of Naboo. A political idealist, she advocated for the preservation of democracy as well as a peaceful resolution to the Clone Wars.

– Hair is gathered in small neat bun at the crown of the head and 2 sides buns, one on each side of head
– Side buns are upside down ‘V’ shaped hair pieces
– Side buns extend above the head and end at approximately mid-ear
– Natural hair colors only (brown recommended)

Diadem

Required Details
– At center top of forehead is a wide silver rounded triangle with 2 mirrored art nouveau fan-like designs with turquoise detailing
– On the sides of the head, over the ears, are tall silver triangles with an art nouveau fan-like design with turquoise detailing. The ears are mostly covered by the triangles
– 2 thin silver chains with long links connect center triangle to side triangles
– The top chain has 6 links, and bottom chain has 7 links
– A long thin silver chain with long links connects triangles on sides of head sitting on top of head
– A thin silver chain with long links connects the long chain to back bun

Vest

Required Details
– Vest is made from a very dark gray silk or silk-like velvet. Panne velvet or crushed velvet is not acceptable.
– Left side of vest overlaps right side
– Vest has high collar with left side overlapping right side
– Collar narrows to point at front
– Bottom of the vest comes to a point in the front and a slight point in the back.
– Vest comes down past the waist to the top of the hips.
– Front has elongated hexagon shaped embroidered panel
– Embroidery is abstract floral/art nouveau design with radiating lines on the top and bottom of panel
– Embroidered panel has a dark gray base with light gray and gold thread embroidery with light gray thread as main color and gold thread as accent color
– Embroidered panel has a mix of large turquoise beads and small white and turquoise seed beads.
– Embroidered panel uses 4mm turquoise magnesite beads and 2mm turquoise magnesite beads.
– White opaque flat square 0.2 inch / 6mm beads, 0.07 inch / 2mm white seed beads, run through the middle of the panel.
– The turquoise beads are only on the top and bottom of the panel.
-Top and bottom point of embroidered panel are aligned with edge of vest
-Top of embroidered panel is wider than bottom

Sleeves

Required Details
– Light gray puffed sleeves
– Sleeves are made from crushed / crinkled silk chiffon or silk-like chiffon fabric.
– Sleeves are opaque and not see through or sheer
– Sleeves have wide cuff made from same material
– Cuff comes to approximately middle of forearm
– Sleeves are attached to an underbodice
– Underbodice is not visible
– Underbodice is structured
– Bottom of the cuff has a narrow dark grey piping on the edge made of the same fabric as the skirt or the same shade of fabric as the skirt.
– Cuff has 7 fabric covered buttons, fabric is same as sleeves
– Top of cuff comes to a point on front of arm
– Sleeves are ruched at the bicep with elastic under the armbands.
Optional Details:
– Buttons are bridal / loop button closures.
– Hidden closure under faux bridal / loop buttons are acceptable.

Armbands

Required Details
– 4 narrow silver armbands on each bicep, approximately 0.75 inches / 2 cm wide
– Armbands are fitted and have visible gap between each one
– Armbands have raised symmetrical filigree design with turquoise details

Skirt

Required Details
– Dark gray, lighter than the vest but darker than the sleeves, silk or silk-like Dupioni or similarly textured material.
– Texture of the material goes vertical down the skirt.
– Skirt is full length
– Skirt has one box pleat in the center front and knife pleats for the rest of the skirt
– Petticoat or underskirt to provide fullness to skirt
– Skirt is attached to a yoke, made of the same material, that is hidden by the vest so that the skirt fits better with all of the layers.
