CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Rebel Alliance technicians, also known as Rebel technicians, or ground tech were technicians that were part of the Alliance to Restore the Republic’s support staff. They were employed to look after technical equipment such as starfighters and the droids. They also operated the personnel carriers, which they nicknamed “chariots”.

Flightsuit

Required Details
– Tan medium-to-heavy weight matte fabric with no sheen one-piece flight suit/coveralls. Heavy cotton twill recommended.
– Flight suit has a front zipper that is hidden by a strip of the same material as the flight suit that is approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
– Flight suit is void of visible zippers or snaps.
– Mandarin-style collar with pointed tab closure, closing from wearer’s left to right with the exposed tab extending to the right side of the neck.
– There is a horizontal seam or double-topstitched line that runs across the upper chest, but does not extend around the back.
– Code cylinder pocket on outside of the wearer’s upper middle left arm, centered to the shoulder seam, divided into 5 pen sleeves. Pocket is rectangular, width is a approximately 5 inches (12.5 cm) with seams between code cylinders 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart, height is slightly taller than the width by approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm).
– Com pad pocket is on the outside of wearer’s left forearm above the wrist, centered to the shoulder seam and placed approximately halfway between the wrist and elbow. An open window is located in the middle of the pocket, border approx. 1 inch (2.5 cm) around all sides around the window.
– Rectangular pocket with a rectangular flap closure on upper-middle of wearer’s right arm, centered to the shoulder seam. Width is nearly the width of arm if lying flat, height is taller than the width by a couple inches.
– Arms have Velcro closure straps, closing the arm on the wrist.
– Flight suit has two upper thigh pockets with curved openings, one on each leg, positioned close to the outer side seam of pant leg. Width is approx. ¾ the width of the pant leg lying flat, height is taller than width by a couple inches.
– Flight suit has two middle thigh pockets with rectangular flap closures, one on each leg, positioned immediately below upper thigh pockets and similarly close to outer side seam of pant leg. Width is the same as width of upper thigh pockets, height is taller than width by approx. 1 inch (2.5 cm).
– Flight suit has two shin pockets with rectangular flap closures, one on each leg, positioned immediately below knee and similarly close to outer side seam of pant leg. Size is the same as middle thigh pockets.
– All rectangular flap closures have a height that cover the top ¼ height of the pocket.
– Flight Suit may have elastic/Velcro closure on the bottom of legs.

Required Details
– Rectangular communications pad with four rows of buttons and detailing on a white background.
– Top row of pad has four raised vertical rectangles with colors from left to right, black, grey, blue, red.
– Second row from the top has two raised rectangular areas, the left being slightly larger than the right. Left is white with patterned holes on top, right is white with 2 horizontal recessed parallel lines and raised red circle in the center.
– Third row from the top has three raised areas: left is a red rectangle, middle is a white square, right is slightly larger white square with a raised vertical line in the middle.
– Bottom row has three raised areas: left small dark grey square with raised hollow circle, middle white rectangle with raised vertical line in the middle, right is a dark grey rectangle with 4 rows and 4 columns of raised rectangles.
– Comm pad is contoured slightly to fit the arm.
– The comm pad is visible in the comm pad pocket of flight suit.

Boots (choose one)
A: Jackboots

Required Details
– Calf high black leather or leather like material.
– Normal leather grain/texture/lines are acceptable.
– Free of laces, decorative stitching, buckles on the instep or any other embellishments.
– Boots may have a single adjustment strap at the top outside of the boot, with the buckle no wider than 1 inch(2.5 cm).
– This need not be functional.
– Jackboot buckles should not be shiny/can be painted dingy grey or gun-metal color.
– Hobnails may be present on the front of the jackboots.
– Tread on the soles and heels is acceptable.
– Zippers on the inside of the boot are acceptable, so long as they are concealed by the same material as the boot.
– German “jack boot” (Knobelbecher) style boots are most canon.
– Legs of the flightsuit cover the boots to approx. ankle height.

Required Details
– Ankle high boot in brown or black leather (can be suede).
– Boot is constructed so that its shaft looks like spats, but attached directly to the boot.
– Boot has a “cuff”, covering the top of the shaft, closed with velcro on the back.
– Boots do NOT have visible laces.
– Boots may have zippers on the inside of the leg.

Required Details
– Belt is a British PLCE Belt, worn inside out.
– Belt has a British Roll Pin style buckle.
– Belt has two strips (one on either side), each of 5 Flare Holders, 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, made of webbing in the same color as the belt.
– Belt flare holders contain 5 belt flares each.
– Belt flares are made of hose pipe fittings type ACA2488 or replica.

Required Details
– One single code cylinder is worn in any of the “pen sleeves” in the codecylinder pocket.
– Code cylinder is silver metal or a material that is finished with a silver metal-like appearance.
– Code cylinder shank is approximately 3.25 inches (8.25 cm).
– Code cylinder heads have a flaring disc detail at top that is approximately ¾ inch (2 cm).

Required Details
– Black, dark brown or dark blue (indigo) vest, similar in style to a “Trucker Vest”, made of heavy cotton, canvas or duck cloth. No shiny fabrics are permitted!
– Vest has a padded appearance.
– Vest is closed left over right with pushbuttons (can be worn open or closed).
– Vest has a standing collar, approx. 2 inches (5 cm) high.
– Collar is padded.
– Left front of vest has a rankbadge pocket with an open window approx. 2×3 inches (5×7,5 cm)
– Vest features two open topped front pockets, one on either front side.
– Vest has a bottom hem, approx, 2 inches (5 cm) high, made of elastic jersey in the same color as the vest
– Vest has a vertical double seam on the back, running between the arm holes and two vertical seams running from the vertical seam to the bottom hem.
Optional:
One seam running down the back of the vest, down the center, from the vertical seam down to the bottom hem.

Rebel Crew Helmet

Required Details
– White or light grey helmet based on a US Navy “MK II Deck Talker Helmet”.
– Helmet has a white or light grey combox on the left side.
– Combox is approx. 2 inches (5 cm) x 3 inches (7.5 cm) x 1 inch (2.5 cm) with a bevel on the bottom, contoured to the helmet shell.
– Combox has a raised circular indented detail on its face. Above the circular detail are two (2) raised bumps. Right of the circular detail are 4 (four) vertical raised lines running almost the entire height of the combox face.
– On the top rear of the combox is an antenna, made of metal wire or similar materials to represent metal, about ⅛ inch (3 mm) to 3/16 inch (4.5 mm) in diameter and 6 inches (15 cm) to 8 inches (20 cm) in visible length.
– Helmet has a black chin strap with a white or light grey chin cup.
