Character Description:
Rey Skywalker, once known only as Rey, was a human female Jedi Master who fought on the side of the Resistance in the war against the First Order. A former scavenger from the planet Jakku, her life was changed by the tumultuous events of the last days on the New Republic Era. Her decision to help the droid BB-8 would set Rey on a course to discovering the Force that awakened within her, leading her to seek out Jedi Master Luke Skywalker for training.

Required Details:
1. Hair is done in a bubble ponytail style down the back of the head from crown to nape, with three bubbles in total.
2. The first bubble is created by sectioning just above the ears and sits at the crown of the head. The second and largest bubble is at the center of the back of the head. The third bubble ends at the nape of the neck.
3. All loose hair at the bottom must be tucked up and under the third bubble.
4. The bubbles must have volume to them.
5. All natural hair colors are accepted (brown preferred).
Optional Details:
1. Brown eye color contacts recommended, not required.
2. Subtle “no-makeup” makeup may be worn.

Shirt:

Required Details:
1. The shirt is cream or off-white with a V neck made of a smooth knit fabric and is lined in the same or similar light weight fabric.
2. The shirt ends at the wearer’s hips and the bottom of the shirt is unfinished.
3. The shirt has cap sleeves.
4. The edges of the neckline, collar, cap sleeves and raglan shoulder details are finished with a blanket-stitch or whip-stitch detail.
5. The shirt has a standing collar attached with a French seam.
6. The shirt has a standing collar approximately 2 inches (5 cm) tall.
7. There is a lined hood attached around underneath the collar, with the corners of the hood attached at the front point of the collar.
8. The seam connecting the collar and hood to the shirt is topstitched to create a piped effect.
9. The hood extends down the wearer’s back to a few inches above the belt.
10. The hood is made from a matte, slightly textured fabric. Silk or polyester crepe is the recommended fabric. This fabric is different to that used for the shirt and is same or similar off-white color.
11. The hood lining has a center seam and two small tucks or pleats on either side of the seam (four total).
12. There is a seam on the outside center of the hood starting at the base and extending about the half the length of the hood.
13. Hood must be large enough so that when the hood is up the sides of the hood drape to extend to or cover half of the shoulder.
Optional Details:
1. The hood has a narrow box pleat down the center.
2. The shoulders also have a faux raglan detail.

Wrap Dress:

Required Details:
1. The wrap is white or slightly off-white in color and made of a thin, lightweight gauze, such as silk tulle or similar material. Heavier crinkle gauze is not acceptable for this costume.
2. The wrap is very wide but gathered at the shoulders. It crosses over the breasts and in the back right over left.
3. The loop of the wrap falls to the lower knee on the wearer’s left. The loose ends fall to their right side, with both extending to the top of the boot.
4. The wrap is worn under the obi and belt, except for the loose piece on the front right, which hangs over the lower belt.

Upper Arm Cuff:

Required Details:
1. The upper arm cuff is a medium brown (the same or similar in color to the belt) and made of a leather or leather-like material.
2. It is worn on the wearer’s upper right arm.
3. Overall width of cuff is approximately 3 inches (8 cm), tapering down with 45 degree edges to a 2 inches (5 cm) width after it wraps the wearer’s arm one time, then tapering down again to 1 inch (2.5 cm) width the second time it wraps the arm.
4. Slits are cut into the cuff at the point where each taper would pass through the previous wrapping, and the tails end is left loose but pressed down flat, possibly held with a magnet or velcro, which is not visible.

Arm Wraps:

1. The arm wraps are made from a thin leather or leather-like material, such as pigskin or goatskin and are light beige to taupe in color.
2. They extend from the wearer’s wrist to just below the elbow and have a seam closure on the inside of the arm, which runs half way down the wrap; it is then finished by wrapping the leftover leather around the wrist.

Required Details:
1. Belt is a light brown weathered belt, made of leather or leather-like material. It is lighter in color than both the Jakku and Battle/Hero belts.
2. Belt is constructed of one continuous piece that splits into the two belts. The joined portion is on the wearer’s left and the separated sections and belt closures are on the wearer’s right.
3. The belt’s upper and lower sections are each secured with a pair of rectangular metal rings, proportional to the width of each section of the belt.
4. Twine wraps around the conjoined section in the front of the belt.
5. Belt is approximately 1-3/4 inches (4.5 cm) at the top and 1-1/4 inches (3 cm) at the bottom (approximately 3 inches (8 cm) at the conjoined part, proportional to the wearer). The top section must be wider than the bottom.
6. Belt has one keeper (or slit) after each metal ring to secure the loose end folded over.
7. Belt has at least one leather keeper on each section of the belt to secure the loose tails after they have been passed through the rectangle rings.
8. There is a matte, lightly weathered silver metallic rectangular weathered buckle on the lower belt found right after the split.
Optional Details:
1. There are two horizontal slits approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) long in the belt right behind the twine. These are used to hold the lightsaber.

Holster:

Required Details:
1. Light brown leather or leather-like holster. The holster must support the weight of the blaster without sagging.
2. Holster attaches to the lower belt segment on the costumer’s right hip.
3. Top of the holster is elongated and narrower than the main body. It loops over the lower belt. This loop is secured with two rivets or Chicago screws. The free edge of the loop is not visible from the front.
4. The viewer’s left side of the holster is taller than the right and is a convex curve moving toward the center line of the holster.
5. The viewer’s right side of the holster is a concave curve.
6. The right side overlaps the left in roughly the center of the holster. The overlap has a squared-off end.
7. A narrow (approximately 1 inch /2.5 cm) retention strap bisects the bottom opening of the holster and ends on top of the overlapped sections of the main holster. The strap end is not flush with the top front edge of the holster, but ends slightly below it.
8. These three sections are secured together with two vertically oriented rivets or Chicago screws.
9. The holster has a thigh strap made of the same color leather.
10. The strap is approximately 3/4 inch (2 cm) wide (proportional to the wearer) and wraps around the mid-thigh parallel to the ground.
11. One end of the strap ends in two rectangle rings. This end is secured with a small stitched “x” in a similar color to the leather.
12. The strap is secured by passing it through both rectangle rings, then doubling it back on itself and passing it through only one ring.
13. The long tail of the strap is secured with a button stud.

Pants:

Required Details:
1. Pants are bright white and made of heavy-weight opaque fabric such as suede. The color is the lightest color on the costume.
2. There is a vertical seam down the front and the back of each pant leg, with one row of stitching on each side of the seam.
4. The pants are closely fitted and the full length comes to just below the knee, with a short slit on the outside of the knee.
5. The hem of the pants and slit is finished.
6. There are elongated octagonal knee pads that have five sections and a thin border around the perimeter of the pad. The middle of the five sections is larger than the rest.

Boots:

Required Details:
1. The boots are light beige to cream colored linen or linen-like fabric, with matching leather or leather-like details on the heel and back of the boot.
2. The soles are slightly darker than the main boot and are flat.
3. The top of the boot ends just above the ankles.
4. The heel of the boot is leather or leather-like in a slightly darker color than the fabric of the boot. A strip of the same material goes up the back of the boot, with two attached loops for lacing.
5. The boot is laced in the back by threading cream cord. End of the laces are tucked in so as not to be seen.
6. The screen used boots are the same or very similar to Po-Zu Rey boots in Natural Linen.

Reforged Skywalker Lightsaber:

1. Rey’s Episode IX reconstructed Graflex.
2. Nickel plated lightsaber hilt with black vertical grips on the pommel.
3. Black clip secured to pomel end between two of the vertical grips on the opposite side of control box.
4. Lightsaber has a vertical ignition switch that is light gold or brass-toned metal on top of the control box.
5. Lightsaber has a textured bandaid made out of brown leather or leather-like material around the middle section of hilt with the control box sitting centrally in it. Minor cracks visible on the top edge of the bandaid, these can be painted on.
6. One (1) raised red button close to the emitter/blade portion of the hilt.
7. Emitter end has two convex “fins” on the opposite side of the hilt from the button.

Required Details:
1. The staff is approximately between the same height as the wielder to a foot (30 cm) shorter than the wielder.
2. The staff is dark brown or black with heavy, textured weathering in rust tones.
3. If the staff is 3D printed, print lines must not be visible.
4. The staff is assembled from differently shaped greeblies. From top to bottom, the order and general description of the greeblies is as follows:
– A half-dome greeblie with horizontal ridges.
– A conical greeblie with vertical ridges. The base of the cone points toward the bottom of the staff.
– A cylindrical greeblie with a wide rounded top and slightly flared base. There are two flat inset pieces on opposite sides of the greeblie. These pieces are oriented vertically.
– A flat round cog.
– A second conical ridged greeblie that is slightly shorter than the first conical greeblie. The base of the cone points toward the top of the staff.
– A second flat round cog.
– A tri-fin greeblie with a tapered bottom.
– A cylindrical greeblie with horizontally oriented ridges. The ridges are fairly prominent and rounded, similar to a tightly wrapped rounded cord or wire.
– A short cylindrical greeblie with vertically oriented ridges.
– A long greeblie with a slight indent approximately 1 inch / 2.5 cm from the bottom. The greeblie has a grid-style texture. The texture is fairly low-profile.
– A short (approximately 1 inch / 2.5 cm) cylindrical greeblie with the same texture as the above greeblie. The length of this greeblie is approximately the same as the length from the indent to the bottom of the above greeblie.
– A short bulbous greeblie that tapers at the bottom.
– A third conical ridged greeblie that is the same size as the first. The base of the cone points toward the top of the staff.
– A second half-dome greeblie with horizontal ridges.
5. The middle of the staff is wrapped with fabric and leather. The fabric is an ivory, cream, or natural-toned woven fabric. The leather is medium brown in tone and should be thin enough to wrap easily around the staff. Fabric and leather are also weathered.
6. The staff has a carrying strap made of heavyweight webbing. The webbing is tan or light brown in tone. The strap is similar to a British Enfield rifle sling.
7. The strap has a metal tri-glide slider to adjust the length.
8. Each end of the strap finishes in a brass-tone metal swivel lobster clasp.
9. The staff has two h-shaped leather or leather-like slings that are secured with snaps. The slings are roughly “H” shaped, with the two longer parallel lines ending in a set of silver-tone snaps (2 snap sets total per sling). The crossbar of the “H” has a metal d-ring. The metal clasps of the webbing strap attach to this d-ring.
10. The h-shaped slings are brown with heavy weathering.

NN-14 Blaster:

Required Details:
1. The NN-14 blaster is silver in color, with dirt and grime weathering.
2. It has two barrels, the main barrel about four times as long and twice as large as the secondary barrel.
3. The main barrel has a chrome-blue fouling at the end, given by the heat given off by lasers, and eight holes on each side. Barrel is around 3.5 inches (9 cm) with a 1 inch (3 cm) diameter.
4. The body of the blaster is square on the side, with a rectangular cross-section with rounded edges; each side has four screws enclosing a rectangular panel, a black square, and six engraved lines, one corresponding to the square and five in a single cluster. Body is around 4 inches (10 cm) by 4 inches (10 cm) by 1 inches (3.5 cm).
5. The silver handle has a black grip on each side attached by two screws each.

Crossbody Satchel:

Required Details:
1. An ivory crossbody satchel with a matching weathered shoulder strap.
2. Satchel may be made of canvas or a material similar to the armwraps.
3. The strap is made of the same material as the satchel body and has two lines of stitching running down the center length.
4. There is a silver tri-glide slider on the strap to adjust the length.
5. The strap attaches to the main body of the bag with a large silver D-ring at the top and a metal strap adjuster at the bottom.
6. There is a curved recessed seam on the back body of the bag.
7. The front flap of the bag has curved edges.
8. There is a pouch made of white netting on the bottom third of the bag. The free edge of the netting is covered with a strip of the bag fabric.
9. There is a strap that runs over the left third of the front flap and the left third of the netting pouch. The strap ends connect in the middle with a silver metal buckle.
9. Bag seams are exposed and frayed.
