CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Rey Skywalker, once known only as Rey, was a human female Jedi Master who fought on the side of the Resistance in the war against the First Order. A former scavenger from the planet Jakku, her life was changed by the tumultuous events of the last days on the New Republic Era. Her decision to help the droid BB-8 would set Rey on a course to discovering the Force that awakened within her, leading her to seek out Jedi Master Luke Skywalker for training.

Required Details:
1. Hair is approximately shoulder length and falls no lower than the shoulder blades with small ponytail at top of the head (two small wraps 2 inches / 5 cm apart preferred). Ponytails may be secured with elastics that match hair color.
2. No bangs.
3. Naturally occurring hair colors only (brown preferred).
4. A few thin strands of hair are loose around the face.
5. No tattoos are visible.
6. Wig is allowed, but must be high quality and look like real hair.
Optional Details:
1. Brown eye color contact lenses recommended, not required.
2. Subtle “no-makeup” makeup may be worn.

Required Details:
1. Undershirt is white or off-white, sleeveless with a V neck cross over, right over left.
2. Undershirt is visible under the arm through the tunic armhole and through the splits in the tunic skirt when arm or tunic is moved out of the way.
3. Undershirt extends to below the bottom of the hips.
Optional Details:
1. Blanket stitch on edges.
2. Undershirt is double layered with the inner layer being approximately 1 inch/ 2.5 cm longer than the outer layer.

Required Details:
1. Tunic is brown with a raised diamond-shaped pattern; the screen accurate fabric has the weave laid over the base material and sewn to the base material.
2. The front of the tunic wraps right over left.
3. Below the waist, the tunic splits into 4 panels. The front panels overlap in the front, right over left. The panels lay flush against each other on each side and in the back.
4. The tunic extends to mid thigh in length.
Optional Details:
1. Yoke at the back of the tunic at or just above the shoulder blades.

Required Details:
1. The wrap is a grey colored thin (gauze or gauze-like) material.
2. Wrap is gathered at the shoulders, and crosses over the breasts in the front, with the right side crossing over the left. In the back, the wrap does not cross.
3. It wraps as one continuous piece (no visible seams).
4. The loop of the wrap fall to the lower knee on the costumer’s left. The loose ends of the wrap fall on the costumer’s right side, with the front falling to below the costumers knee, and the back of the wrap falling to the costumer’s mid-calf.
5. The tabards/wrap dress is worn under the obi and belt.

Arm Wraps:

Required Details:
1. Arm wraps are made from an off-white colored gauze bandage or rough-textured fabric.
2. Arm wraps are weathered, with the edges of the wraps off-colored and darker than the base wraps.
3. The wraps are a snug fit to the wearer’s arms.
4. The wraps begin at the bicep and extend to the wrist.
5. The ends of the wraps are tucked in at the bicep and wrist.
Optional Details:
1. Boots brand found in the UK is the screen used bandages for the arm wraps.

Bracer:

Required Details:
1. The bracer is a medium to dark brown with a slightly lighter brown or tan underside.
2. The bracer is worn on the costumer’s left wrist over top of the armwrap.
3. The top edge of the bracer is roughly trapezoidal in shape and is approximately 4 – 5 inches / 10 – 13 cm wide at the widest point.
4. The tail of the bracer weaves through two slits on the main body and then turns back on itself.
5. The tail continues around the wrist through a second set of slits, and the end of the tail is secured in a third set of slits on the top side of the wrist.

Required Details:
1. Obi is a dark grey fabric (slub cotton, linen, or similar recommended), about 2 shades darker than the tabards/wrap dress.
2. Obi is between 5 – 8 inches / 13 – 20 cm wide with some horizontal creases/folds. Obi must be proportionate to wearer.
3. No visible closures allowed.
4. The obi is worn over the tabards/wrap dress and under the belt.

Required Details:
1. Belt is a dark brown weathered belt, made of leather or leather-like material.
2. Belt is thick enough to support the weight of the holster without sagging or wrinkling.
3. Belt is constructed of one continuous piece that splits into the two belts. The joined section is on the wearer’s left side, and the separated sections and belt closures are on the wearer’s right side.
4. The top section of the belt fits snugly at the natural waist. The bottom section drapes downward to rest over the hip.
5. Belt is secured with two (2) rectangular or “D” shaped metal rings on ends, buckles may be silver, gunmetal, or black in tone. The metal rings are secured to the leather of the belt with a stitched “X” in a thread color that closely matches or is slightly lighter than the belt color.
6. Twine that are tan or taupe in color, wraps around the solid portion of the belt and extends to wrap around the bottom belt section a few times. This is one continuous piece of twine. A second twine wrap on the back lower belt.
7. The top section must be wider than the bottom. Top section is approximately half an inch (0.5 inches/1.25 cm) wider than the bottom section.
8. Both top and bottom sections taper into narrow tails that weave through slits in the back of the belt to hold firmly closed. The tails are approximately 0.75 inch/2 cm to 1 inch /2.5 cm wide.
9. Each belt section has two sets of narrow oblong slits punched or cut into the area that wraps around the costumer’s back. The height of the slits should be approximately the same as the width of the belt tails. The slits are centered on the width of the belt.
10. Belt is secured by threading the belt tails through both metal rings. The tails turn back on themselves and pass through the top ring only. The ends are secured by weaving them in and out of the slits.

Holster:

Required Details:
1. Holster is made out of medium to dark brown leather or leather-like material and is attached to the lower belt section on wearer’s right hip.
2. Top of holster is elongated and narrower than the main body. This loop is secured with two rivets or Chicago screws. The free edge of the loop is not visible from the front.
3. Left side of holster is taller than the right and is a convex curve moving toward center line of holster.
4. Right side of holster is a concave curve.
5. Right side overlaps the left in roughly the center of holster. The overlap has a squared-off end.
6. A narrow (approximately 1 inch /2.5 cm wide) retention strap bisects the bottom opening of the holster and ends on top of the overlapped sections of the main holster. Strap end is not flush with top front edge of holster, but ends slightly below it.
7. These three sections are secured together with two vertically oriented rivets or Chicago screws.
8. Narrow thigh strap is approximately 0.75 inch /2 cm wide and wraps around costumer’s right leg at mid-thigh point and parallel to the ground, made out of the same color and material as the rest of the holster.
9. One end of the strap ends in two rectangle rings. This end is secured with a small stitched “x” in a similar color to the leather.
10. The strap is secured by passing it through both rectangle rings, then doubling it back on itself and passing it through only one ring.
11. The long tail of the strap is secured with a button stud.
12. A blaster is not worn with this holster.

Required Details:
1. Pants are made of a stretch woven fabric that is light grey to taupe in color. Pants are lighter than the wrap dress/tabards.
2. Two (2) darts on either side of the knees.
3. There is a straight seam below the knee that ends at the outer and inseams (does not continue around the leg).
4. There is a single vertical seam goes from the the top of the arched seam to the top of the leg.

Lightsaber:

1. Silver lightsaber hilt with black vertical grips on the pommel.
2. D-ring attached to the pommel end.
3. Lightsaber has a vertical ignition switch that is light gold or brass-toned metal on top of the control box.
4. One (1) raised red button close to the emitter/blade portion of the hilt.
5. Emitter end has two convex “fins” on the opposite side of the hilt from the button.
6. Luke’s hilt from The Empire Strikes Back is an acceptable version.
7. Lightsaber may be bladed or a static hilt (no blade).
10. Ultimate FX short sabers or other toy sabers are not acceptable.
Optional Details:
1. Attached blade(s), LED lights, and sound effects, are allowed but not required.
2. If bladed, must be blue.
